Kalamkari means pen work. Every vine, every petal, every curl of a paisley on this shawl has been drawn by hand using a pointed kalam onto the fabric. No two pieces are ever identical. The hand that made this one left something of itself in every stroke.
The warm antique gold base holds a generous multicolour palette, cobalt and teal, magenta and coral, amber and olive, plum and ivory, flowing across an all-over jaal of arching vines, multi-petalled blooms, and scattered paisleys. The composition has the looseness and energy of something drawn rather than woven, organic and alive in the way only hand work can be.
The border shifts to a deeper olive-grey ground framed by a navy stripe with small hand-painted floral motifs, containing the exuberance of the body without diminishing it. The pallu closes with vertical panels of flowering botanical clusters, the same free painterly hand throughout.

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you receive. If you are not fully satisfied, we accept return requests within 7 days of delivery. To be eligible, the item must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition with all tags and packaging intact. Click here to initiate a Return request.
A flat return processing fee of Rs. 290 will be deducted from the refund amount to cover reverse shipping and handling. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 to 15 business days of return approval.
Exchanges are offered only in cases of manufacturing defects or transit damage. In such cases, return shipping is borne by AKSHNAM.
