The deep wine ground is covered from edge to edge in hand embroidery by Kashmiri artisans, not a border piece, not a corner motif, but full-coverage allover work where the ground itself barely breathes. Fine trailing vines and scattered paisleys in amber gold and ivory white run across the entire field, the two-tone palette giving the composition a restraint and coherence that more colourful pieces cannot achieve. Against the deep burgundy, it reads like gilded manuscript illumination.
A vertical axis of diamond medallions anchors the centre, each densely filled with sunflower rosettes and interlocking floral forms. The border carries its own pictorial register: elephants in procession, peacocks in full display, deer among flowering trees, stitched with the same precision as the field work surrounding them.
Every stitch placed by hand by a master Kashmiri artisan. A piece of this coverage and intricacy represents months of continuous work, and it shows.

Returns & Exchanges

A flat return processing fee of Rs. 290 will be deducted from the refund amount to cover reverse shipping and handling. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 to 15 business days of return approval.
Exchanges are offered only in cases of manufacturing defects or transit damage. In such cases, return shipping is borne by AKSHNAM.
