The vast mustard field is left entirely plain, a deliberate, confident choice that exists solely to frame what surrounds it.
The pallu is a world unto itself. A full royal durbar scene unfolds in terracotta, coral, sage green, teal, gold, and burgundy, ornate Mughal archways and domed pavilions framing courtly figures, musicians, attendants, and birds in a continuous narrative panorama. The architectural detail is exceptional, each arch scalloped and intricately filled, the figures carrying the poise of miniature painting translated into woven thread. Below the primary scene, a procession frieze moves camels, elephants, deer, and courtly figures across the border in an unbroken story. A final band of panelled floral compositions in alternating coloured grounds brings the pallu to a rich, layered close.
The side borders complete the shawl as a fully bordered narrative textile on all four sides, dense vertical bands of figurative and floral Kani motifs that reward slow, close looking at every inch.

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you receive. If you are not fully satisfied, we accept return requests within 7 days of delivery. To be eligible, the item must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition with all tags and packaging intact. Click here to initiate a Return request.
A flat return processing fee of Rs. 290 will be deducted from the refund amount to cover reverse shipping and handling. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 to 15 business days of return approval.
Exchanges are offered only in cases of manufacturing defects or transit damage. In such cases, return shipping is borne by AKSHNAM.
